The Independence Planned Community is unlike most other housing developments currently in the works. Independence is focused on the first-time homebuyer. Homes will be priced to start in the higher $200,000 range. The homes also include all appliances and solar panels! The first 100 homes at Independence are currently under construction and model homes should be available for public viewing in the Fall.

Despite those hurdles, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation congratulated its largest ever group of high school graduates and patients.

The Assistance League of Las Vegas (ALLV) is made of up volunteer members who not only run the thrift store but work their philanthropic programs which support the community. Recently, ALLV members appeared on Channel 3 to offer advice for those viewers who may be donating items as part of their Spring cleaning.
