Four teachers were recognized for their efforts in the classroom in Southern Nevada and Northwest Arizona schools this month. The recognition is part of the American Casino & Entertainment Properties (ACEP), LLC’s Community Connections program, which has donated more than $1 million dollars through in-kind and financial donations since 2005. In addition to the recognition, four schools will each receive a $5,000 donation from ACEP and administered through the Public Education Foundation.
ACEP properties which include the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, Arizona Charlie’s Casinos and the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada have paired with a school in their area and provide a number of benefits to students and teachers throughout the year. School supply drives, backpacks, meals and volunteer efforts are some of the ways each ACEP property assists their school.
