LAS VEGAS – June 24, 2015 – It’s that time of year again to get your bowling gear out and get together to raise funds for kids in Nevada who are fighting catastrophic diseases and don’t have the medical insurance or financial resources to pay for medical treatment.
The Cure 4 Kids Foundation’s 5th Annual “Bowl 4 The Kids” will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Strike Zone Bowling Center inside Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road, starting at 1 p.m.
Bowl 4 The Kids raises funds for children in Nevada who are living with diseases, such as cancer, rare and ultra rare diseases, rheumatological and genetic conditions, and who are uninsured or cannot pay for medical treatment.
“Last year was the first time our event sold out, ever,” said Dawn Marie Pavuk, Director of Business Development at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation. “Bowl 4 The Kids is always so much fun and we appreciate all our supporters and sponsors who are raising funds for kids most in need.”
Registration for Bowl 4 The Kids is $25 per bowler, which includes three bowling games, t-shirt on bowl day, pizza, DJ, treats, face painting and more! Patients are free.
Bowlers can register by contacting Becky Stephenson at (702) 691-5716 or bstephenson@cure4thekids.org.
A registration form may also be downloaded at bitly.com/Bowl4TheKids2015 and delivered or mailed to Cure 4 The Kids Foundation at 3121 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 601, Las Vegas, NV 89109, with a check for the registration fee.
In addition to bowling, there will also be a raffle, silent auction and bake sale to help raise funds for the cause.
Bowlers and supporters can also sponsor a patient’s sibling to bowl so that he or she can join in on all the fun. $25 sponsors one child. Please call Dawn Marie for more details at (702) 732-0952.
Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which oversees and provides funding to its clinic, The Children’s Specialty Center of Nevada, the state’s only nonprofit specialized pediatric outpatient treatment center.
