Clark County Commissioners Jim Gibson and Tick Segerblom, the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation, and Workforce Connections, Southern Nevada’s Local Workforce Development Board, are hosting a spring job fair, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Friday, April 3, at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Pkwy.
Job seekers and local businesses or agencies looking to hire new employees are encouraged to pre-register online for the job fair through Workforce Connections at www.nvcareercenter.org/springjobfair2020. The job fair is free. Registration is not required but is helpful to organizers. Interested attendees can also call (702) 636-2346 or e-mail cpolke@snvwc.org for information. Additionally, in preparation for the job fair, Workforce Connections’ One-Stop Career Centers and DETR will host a free Spring Resume Review on Thursday, March 26, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Cambridge Recreation Center, 3930 Cambridge St., 89119.
More than 75 employers are expected to participate in the spring job fair including retailers, hotels and casinos, security companies, health care providers, area police fire departments and local government agencies. Job seekers are encouraged to dress for success and to bring at least 30 copies of their current resumes to give to employers participating in the fair.
