The Aquarius Casino Resort’s 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Silent Auction is now in full swing as the fully decorated and individually themed Christmas trees are on display in the Aquarius lobby ready to be taken home. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the 3rd Annual “Feed A Family” program.
The auction started officially on Saturday, November 29. The Reindeer themed tree has already been sold for $750 and will be donated back to the Aquarius. Aquarius works with the River Fund of Nevada, BHHS Legacy Foundation and Praise Chapel of Bullhead City, AZ to locate a local family in need of a Christmas tree and then delivers the tree to the family just in time for Christmas.
Aquarius is auctioning off the remaining nine fully decorated Christmas trees, with bids starting at $100 per tree and additional bids being accepted in increments of $20. All bids can be placed at the Aquarius ace | PLAY center or guests can call 702-298-5028 to place a bid over the phone. Guests will be notified if their bid has been exceeded. Those who would like to purchase a tree without placing a bid can do so for $750.
All proceeds from the Christmas Tree Silent Auction will go directly to the “Feed A Family” program which helps local families receive a holiday meal. Last year Aquarius raised more than $3,100 through the auction to benefit the “Feed A Family” program.
“This auction is such a great and fun way to give back to the community,” said Aquarius Casino Resort General Manager, Sean Hammond. “If you haven’t stopped by the Aquarius lobby to see these amazing trees, you need to do it now before they’re all gone!”
The Home Depot in Bullhead City, AZ generously stepped up and gave Aquarius a great deal when purchasing the trees. Both the “Feed A Family” program and Christmas Tree Silent Auction have been successful due to the generous help of so many in the community.
