Bank of Nevada’s Grand Central Parkway Branch in Downtown Las Vegas looks unlike most other bank branches in town. It’s not just the holiday decorations that make it look a bit different – it’s the art!
This particular bank branch, as well as the public area adjacent to the branch, located inside the Molasky Corporate Center, is being used to display an oil on canvas exhibition created by Las Vegas artist Robert Zinni.
The exhibit, “Trust”, includes twelve paintings that explore the connection between art and banking, a relationship many may not automatically understand.
“From a distance it may seem there is no connection between art and banking,” said Zinni. “What I found through this process is that throughout this great city, every day, we all rely on one another to get through our daily experiences. We can learn a lot from this collaboration and build a fruitful future here.”
Recently, Bank of Nevada held a “meet the artist” reception to kick off the exhibition and allow Zinni to introduce his works. His paintings will be on display during the month of December during normal branch hours when the public is encouraged to come visit.
“We love being able to serve clients and visitors in our Downtown Las Vegas location,” said Michael Cunningham, EVP Regional President. “This exhibition is one way we hope to support the growing artist community downtown and hopefully bring artists and businesses together in the future.”
The Grand Central Parkway Branch is located on the main floor of the Molasky Corporate Center at 100 City Parkway, Las Vegas. The branch is open 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
