The Request for Proposal or “RFP” is essential for any business or organization hoping to qualify for Federal Workforce dollars. But many people do not understand the RFP process or have never learned how to avoid some of the common mistakes made in RFPs.
That is the purpose of a special workshop planned for Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Workforce Connections at 6330 W. Charleston Blvd, Suite 150, Las Vegas.
As the Southern Nevada Workforce Development Board, Workforce Connections awards local community and faith-based organizations approximately $20 million of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds annually. The no cost workshop is designed to teach organizations how to respond to upcoming RFPs for funding, including what evaluators look for in an RFP.
Organizations interested in learning more about the RFP process can register for January 27, 2016, workshop at http://nvworkforceconnections.org/admin/events.
