Proud!
That is one way to explain the young, old, in-between, the pets, volunteers, runners, walkers and more who spent their Saturday morning at Town Square Las Vegas.
The St Baldrick’s Foundation effort to create the world’s largest gathering of people dressed as leprechauns was a valiant and successful effort! About 1,466 people showed up in their green hat, bright orange beard and printed t-shirt for a morning and fun-filled gathering, which included a 5K, 1 mile walk, jog and more. While based in fun, the event is also an important fundraiser for childhood cancer research.
The standing record for the most people dressed as leprechauns was set by a town in Ireland at 1,263.
