So … we were at Fox 5 Vegas to talk about the upcoming Las Vegas Hemophilia Walk & 5K which will help the Nevada Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation send kids with inherited bleeding disorders (and their siblings) to a special medically supervised summer camp .. for free. It’s a great event and there’s still time to sign up or simply donate: www.hfnv.org
As it turned out, one of our guests Shalinda, brought her son Josiah along with her so she could drop him off at school immediately after the segment was done. Josiah, we would learn after the segment, has an interest in “The News.” He can’t wait to take part in the news at his school. When Monica Jackson saw him during the commercial break before our segment, she asked him to be part of the segment. It was the chance he had been waiting for!
During the segment he made a few attempts to add a little “flavor” to the interview. It was very entertaining. He saw an opening and he took it!
Here’s an example. Right after the introduction, Josiah quickly learns he can make hand movements … while on TV …. just like Monica Jackson … so he tests it out:
Then a little later, he realizes he can help point out the box of factor medicine his mother is talking about. Helpful young man!
Then just a bit into the segment (about 1:54), the sudden realization .. “I hope Dad is watching!” Hilarious!

We have no doubt Josiah will pursue a TV career!
