It’s good to help other people, right? Your ability to do that is as simple as booking an appointment! Las Vegans will have a great opportunity to do something for themselves by getting a haircut, manicure, pedicure or eyebrow wax. It’s that simple! At the same time, all the proceeds from these services will go to the Charity Care Program at the Children’s Specialty Center of Nevada, the state’s only nonprofit pediatric specialty clinic. It treats children affected by cancer, rare and ultra rare diseases, rheumatologic and genetic conditions and blood disorders. As a program of Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, its mission is to serve all children, with or without medical insurance. The Haircut-a-Thon takes place at Mosaic Salon on Sunday, August 24, 2014. All the stylists and nail techs have graciously donated their time so all the proceeds from their services will go to the Charity Care Program which ensures children without medical insurance or the inability to pay for treatment still receive it. This is the sixth time Mosaic Salon has offered to hold a Cut-a-Thon for the Children’s Specialty Center. To book an appointment, simply call Cure 4 The Kids Foundation which oversees the Children’s Specialty Center of Nevada at (702) 732-0232. The Haircut-A-Thon runs 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Mosaic Salon is located in Boca Park – 730 South Rampart – next to Total Wine! Haircuts $25, Manicure $15, Pedicure $25, Eyebrow Waxing $15. Feel free to circulate the flyer! Have really long hair? We can also donate to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a public nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss.
