In 2015, Goodwill of Southern Nevada reached sales of $32 million dollars. Also in 2015, the nonprofit was directly responsible for placing 2,383 people in full-time, sustainable jobs at businesses throughout the community.
Those are impressive numbers. But, this kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident.
Sales in Goodwill retail stores, e-commerce and post retail not only create jobs in this community, but they fund programs that are the very heart of Goodwill’s mission – to provide job training, job placement, and other supportive services.
