Reno is projected to grow by leaps and bounds over the next 20 years, as more people move to the region to meet a projected job growth of about 50,000 jobs.
If current trends hold, those younger, professional workers will look to live in more urban environments, where retail services, restaurants and even their jobs are within walking distance.
Helping to meet that need is one reason the 3rd Street Flats project is now underway. When complete, the project will include 94 units. It’s a partnership between Basin Street Properties and Bentar Development. Funding to complete the project was made possible through First Independent Bank, a division of Western Alliance Bank.
The site was an abandoned building for decades (former Kings Inn) in downtown Reno, but within a year will be providing upscale, apartment living!
