It’s no secret that Las Vegas is full of talent. But when the performers, fashion designers, and artists volunteer their time and talent to help others — specifically those families facing childhood cancer — we think that needs to be shared.
Circus Couture was co-founded by Erica Linz who for many years flew through the air on a nightly basis in one of the Cirque du Soleil shows on the Las Vegas Strip. Make no mistake, she still flies through the air, she’s just doing it around the country and around the world while remaining a committed childhood cancer awareness advocate.
For the past 7 years, Circus Couture has raised funds for one purpose: to support the children and families who must go through cancer treatments to save their lives. Funds raised through this event support the Charity Care Program of the Children’s Specialty Center of Nevada, the state’s only nonprofit outpatient treatment center for childhood cancer and other catastrophic conditions. To date, Circus Couture has raised more than one million dollars for childhood cancer causes. Think about that for a second. Volunteers standing together and raising funds for a community in need. It’s pretty awesome.
The performers pull their acts together on their own time — and around their work schedules– as happened recently at L’Oracle Gym:
