Arizona Charlie’s employees donned hair nets, gloves, and Community Connection t-shirts to volunteer to assemble boxed meals at Three Square Food Bank, which will go to kids in Southern Nevada that struggle with hunger.
On Monday, February 3 and Wednesday, February 5, 2014 Arizona Charlie’s employees helped assemble almost 4,500 boxed meals, which included chicken sandwiches, fruit and milk, as part of ACEP’s Community Connection program.
American Casino & Entertainment Properties, LLC (ACEP) is the parent company of the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, Arizona Charlie’s Casinos and Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada. Their Community Connection program coordinates all charitable donations on behalf of ACEP to establish philanthropic giving, donations, and provide employee involvement in community-based volunteer events and fundraising.
Three Square Food Bank helps provide wholesome food to hungry people including children in Southern Nevada who might not have meals during the weekends. The boxed meals that Arizona Charlie’s employees helped put together will be distributed to these children on Friday so they have nutritious food to eat during the weekend.
