Kathy is a four-time Emmy award-winning journalist who also led marketing, public affairs and community affairs for one of the largest non-profit agencies in Nevada. Kathy was also honored with an Edward R . Murrow Award and two National Educations Writers Association Awards. In 2010, In Business Las Vegas named her as one of the city’s “40 Under 40”. Kathy has managed public relations for one of the most iconic hotel/casinos in Las Vegas, as well as other gaming properties, large non-profits and collaborative events.
Mitch is an Emmy award-winning journalist with more than 20 years experience in television news. Mitch worked as a reporter, anchor and producer in markets that include Sacramento, Phoenix and Las Vegas. In the public relations world, Mitch has overseen publicity and community relations for major local casino companies, entertainers and non-profit agencies.
Jessica knows her way around a newsroom having worked at the Las Vegas FOX affiliate handling a number of duties including field producing, video editing, assignment editor and the very important job of teleprompter operator. Jessica also interned at the Las Vegas NBC affiliate. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in News Broadcasting from UNLV, and recently earned her Master of Arts degree in Journalism.
Ralph is a go-getter. As our digital journalist, he uses his reporting skills to help us tell stories that are important to the community. Ralph grew up in Las Vegas and first developed an interest in news while he was in high school. After reporting for his high school newscasts, and reporting for the Vegas PBS program, Inside Education, he is now pursuing a degree in Journalism and Media Studies at UNLV. He hopes to eventually work for a news station that will continue to help him grow as a reporter, as well as a journalist.
